What you will learn in this 4 part workshop:

  • Needle sculpting - It’s not as tough as it looks!! YOU CAN DO IT!
  • How to insert glass button eyes and make eyelids (really fun look)
  • A simple face painting technique using acrylic paint, textile medium, pens, & pencils
  • Embellish….embellish…..embellish!

This class will primarily focus on needle sculpting and face painting.  The fabrlc we’ll use for the head is “Dollskin”.  It is a knit fabric with a one way stretch that allows for a lot of control and great depth in sculpting.   We’ll turn the finished head into a stick puppet and embellish until our heart’s are content. When finished you will have a beautiful Jester Puppet and great tips and tricks to use in your future dollmaking!
