What a great weekend....What a fun group of ladies! Recently I had the opportunity to teach my Mermaid workshop at Piecemakers Country Store in Costa Mesa, California. We had a blast - five ladies (myself included) created, laughed, shared our thoughts, and expressed our many opinions about the mermaid's feminine qualities!
My demo doll....
Susan's pretty fabric selections!
We enjoyed sharing fabrics, sharing tips, melting fabrics, inhaling smoke (we had a little unplanned fabric melting) - well....we didn't really enjoy inhaling smoke. That was a little excitement we could have done without - geez! But it was educational!
Leslie wrestling her mermaid....(slippery)
Everyone is concentrating on building up their mermaid's bum and belly!
A great big thank you Leslie, Susan, Marilyn, Marsha, and all the gals at Piecemakers for a wonderful WEEKEND! You are awesome!!!!!

If you haven't been to Piecemakers....you should definately plan a visit. Piecemakers Country Store is a FANTASTIC quilt shop in Costa Mesa, California. They have so many wonderful fabrics, notions, supplies, classes, and more. It really is a wonderful place to shop, take a class, and even have lunch. They have a wonderful kitchen, and fix the most delicious foods. You should definately stop by to visit, be sure to go upstairs and say hello to Joanna & Nevenka in the class sample room.

SHOW & TELL
Susan brought two of her dolls that she made in my previous workshops at Piecemakers. "Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet" and "Jubilee". They are wonderful! Fantastic job Susan!
Leslie, also brought her Jubilee doll to share. She is soooo pretty! I really want to post her picture, but I missed my photo-op. I'll try to get my hands on a picture to share!
